OBL ACTION TAKEN:
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- A Cook County Board committee has narrowly passed a proposal to make the county a sanctuary for illegal immigrants. WBBM's Steve Miller reports. The vote was 3 to 2 in committee - on a move to make Cook County a safe space for undocumented immigrants. Even the sponsor, Commissioner Roberto Maldonado, called it symbolic, because nothing would stop federal agents from making immigration raids. "And it is symbolic to tell the people of Cook County who happen to be undocumented that, look, we recognize that we are a county of immigrants." Commissioner Tony Peraica voted against the resolution. He says the County Board has no jurisdiction. "And I believe this particular issue would create a false sense of hope in people's minds that they can, in fact, continue to stay in an illegal capacity with impunity." The resolution also forbids county employees from asking people about their immigration status.
The resolution still has to go to the full board."

You know we're screwed here, with Rahm, Daley, Obama, Jackson, Guiterriez, they will pass this! Did you hear her son has gone to Mexico to pleade with Fox?
Eventually all smart communities will pass ordinances against illegals and they will head for these large sanctuary cities....what a mess!

Hope you're doing well.....and no, I hadn't heard anything about that, is there somewhere I can go to read about it? ....I think what we need is a Paul/Graf/Tancredo-type person to unite the anti-illegals in very strong, immediate push to fight the OBL, effectively secure our borders and put an END to the NAU/SPP nonsense. Someone (wonder if Graf's got time?) who can pull together all the various groups across the country under one anti-OBL umbrella. I don't think most Americans have a clue about the agenda behind the open borders. Calderone's visit was a HUGE red flag and I think Bush is going to hurry to get the next step in the OBL agenda (shamnesty) passed in the spirit of a bipartisan compromise. Something's got to be done and fast.
If I lived there, I'd phone every lawyer in the city until I found one willing to file a RICO suit against Cook County. It is illegal, against Federal INS law, to encourage illegal immigration by providing banking services, mortgages, housing, jobs, etc. to illegal aliens.
